"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"
I have been wondering lately if I am the only one struggling to keep costs under control in dating ads. It feels like no matter what I try, the budget disappears faster than expected.
When I first started running Dating Campaigns, I thought scaling would be simple. More budget should mean more users, right? But it did not work that way. My cost per signup kept increasing, especially after the first few days. It honestly made me question if I was targeting the wrong audience or just using the wrong traffic sources.
One thing I noticed is that broad targeting drained my budget quickly. I was trying to reach everyone instead of focusing on specific groups. Once I narrowed things down by age and location, the cost dropped a bit. Not a huge difference at first, but enough to keep testing.
Creatives were another issue. I used to think flashy images would get better results, but simple and more relatable ads actually performed better. It seems like people respond more when the ad feels real instead of overly polished.
I also experimented with different times of the day. Surprisingly, running ads during late evenings worked better for me. Maybe it is when people are more active on dating platforms, but it definitely helped reduce wasted spend.
I am still figuring things out, but one takeaway so far is that small changes matter more than big shifts. Instead of increasing budget, adjusting targeting and creatives seems to make a bigger impact.
Curious if others have found better ways to lower acquisition costs without cutting down on quality traffic.
