"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"
I have been wondering lately if people are really able to measure profit properly from dating ads or if most of us are just guessing based on clicks and traffic numbers. I started testing a few campaigns recently, and honestly, it looked good in the beginning because the click rates were decent. But after a few days, I realized I had no idea which traffic was actually bringing signups or real users. That was the frustrating part for me with Dating CPC Advertising.
You spend money every day, see visitors coming in, but it becomes hard to tell whether the campaign is helping or just eating budget slowly. At first, I only tracked clicks, which was a mistake. A campaign with cheap clicks was not always giving quality users. What helped me was keeping things simple. I started tracking small actions instead of only looking at traffic. I checked how many users stayed on the page, signed up, or came back later.
I also tested different landing pages instead of sending everyone to the same one. Surprisingly, one simple page with less text worked much better than the fancy design I made earlier. Another thing I noticed is that timing matters more than I expected. Some campaigns looked terrible during weekdays but performed much better at night or on weekends.
If I had stopped too early, I probably would have thought the whole thing failed. I still think ROI tracking in dating campaigns is messy sometimes because user behavior changes fast. But once I focused more on conversions instead of clicks, the numbers started making more sense. It is definitely not perfect, but at least now I can tell which campaigns deserve more budget and which ones should be paused.
