I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about Dating Popunder Ads lately, and I’m honestly curious… are they actually worth trying, or just another traffic source that sounds better than it performs?
I gave them a shot a few months back when my usual ad campaigns started getting expensive. At first, I didn’t expect much. Popunders always felt a bit random to me, like people might just close them instantly without even looking. And yeah, that did happen a lot in the beginning.
The biggest issue I ran into was low engagement. I was getting traffic, but conversions were pretty inconsistent. It made me wonder if the traffic quality was off or if I just wasn’t using the right approach.
Then I spent some time going through guides like Dating Popunder Ads and realized I was treating them like regular ads, which was probably my mistake. Popunders seem to work better when you keep things super simple and attention-grabbing right away.
What actually helped me was changing the landing page style. Instead of a full detailed page, I switched to something quicker and more direct. That alone made a noticeable difference. Also, targeting mattered more than I thought. Broad targeting gave me volume, but narrowing it down improved actual signups.
Another thing I noticed is timing. Some traffic sources performed better at certain times of the day, which I didn’t expect at all. Small tweaks like that started adding up.
So from my experience, Dating Popunder Ads can work, but they’re kind of tricky. You have to test a lot and not expect perfect results immediately. I’m still figuring things out, but curious if anyone here has found a setup that works more consistently?
