Our band's six-track EP is out, and I want to put a listening copy in a folder for rehearsal.

[Jonh Newman]

Hi there! Our band's six-track EP is out, and I want to put a listening copy in a folder for rehearsal. I have the public album link on this computer. How can I keep the songs in release order instead of having them play alphabetically?

Hi! The album workflow in Spotiget's Spotify downloader keeps the release's track order and track numbers. That's handy for your band's EP, because the sequence belongs to the release rather than the order in which you happen to save the songs. Take the complete set, put it in its own folder, and check that your listening app is sorting by track number. Some players default to title or recently added, which can make a correctly numbered album look shuffled. I'd also check that you grabbed the intended edition before sharing that folder with the rest of the group.
