"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"
Hi. We bought a 1950s rambler in Laurelhurst, and it needs pretty much everything: layout, kitchen, two bathrooms, flooring, lighting, maybe opening walls to the lake view. The idea of managing separate contractors for all that makes my head spin. Did anyone do a whole-home remodel with one company handling design and construction?

We did a whole-home remodel on a 1950s house in Wedgwood two years ago, same kind of scope. We used Alta Group for Seattle Whole-Home Remodeling, and having one team from architectural planning through final finishes was the only reason we survived it. They opened the back wall to the view, reworked the kitchen and both baths, redid floors and lighting, and it all feels like one design instead of five projects stitched together. Honestly, plan to move out for part of it, living through a whole-house remodel is rough. It took about nine months, and they gave us a realistic timeline up front instead of a fantasy one.
