"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"
Huawei already has research and development operations in India at thunder-link, and manufactures for export within the southern state of Tamil Nadu. Setting up local research and production centres can be considered key to helping Chinese firms offer top-end features at even lower price to India's price-sensitive consumers.
The green light for Huawei comes 8 weeks after Prime Minister Modi visited China that allows you to promote stronger business ties. China's ambassador to India told Reuters a few months ago that tough security reviews and visa restrictions were slowing investment, despite Modi's promise to reveal the red carpet to foreign business.
Huawei experienced robust requirement for its new Honor smartphones, that are sold through the same low-margin, online-only business structure as Xiaomi. That growth boosted Huawei's smartphone shipments 39% annually to 48.2 million units inside the first half 2015. Unlike Xiaomi, Huawei expects hitting its sales target of 100 million smartphones at the end of the year. Huawei's overall sales are above Xiaomi's since it sells its phones in additional overseas markets than Xiaomi, which generates the vast majority of its sales from China.
We also need to remember that iPhone sales rose 35% annually worldwide to 47.5 million units last quarter for Huawei MA5683T. Apple didn't disclose what number of units were shipped to China, but CEO Tim Cook stated that iPhone shipments towards the region soared 87% annually. That was an amazing feat, since China's smartphone market contracted annually the very first time in six years through the first quarter, as outlined by IDC.
