The use of zinc in metal fabrication work
Zinc on its own can be a very weak steel. It has a low toughness and can simply crack making it useless in the metalwork industry but as an mix it has several uses. Zinc alloys are in reality one of the best alloys making them ideal for die casting. It can be easily used to develop small areas with high ductility and impact strength.
