This watch is an interesting choice for Bulgari, which is generally a brand associated with the Serpenti that I not-so-secretly am obsessed with love, and big and bold jewelry. But the company has recently ventured into making more technologically advanced timepieces, like the Octo Finissimo Tourbillon, with its ultra-thin 1.95mm movement.This watch is currently the thinnest tourbillon wristwatch in production (the Debt Escape Rooms thinnest ever was from Audemars Piguet in 1986).The Rolex reference 6062 "Bao Dai" just sold for $5,060,427, making it the most expensive Rolex ever sold at auction. The watch sold as lot 93 of today's Phillips Geneva Watch Auction: Five, setting the new world record (as everyone expected).The Twist-O-Flex is one of those little bits of watch nostalgia that never ceases to be charming for me. The bracelets are comfortable, they last forever, and they exhibit just the right balance of simplicity and over-engineering. Essentially two sets of links are held together with bracket pins that allow them to move, expanding and contracting as you pull on them. Traditional Twist-O-Flex even have expanding end links so a single bracelet can work with multiple lug widths.
