After your warm down and your muscles are still warm

After your warm down and your muscles are still warm so you should do some stretching. You do not want to do any strenuous stretch right after the long-term - you risk injury to the leg muscles. Therefore, approximately 15-20 minutes after your run is a good time to do any stretching.
You may also need to do some light massage. I love my "stick running" to do so. You can find these in most of the massage shops run or on Amazon. They are great Athletic Greens for those self-massage the muscles of the leg ulcer.
Long distances can lead to the legs still for a day or two. However, if you follow the tips mentioned above, it can certainly help you to recover faster. So, after those longer runs - get re-hydrated, go for a walk and stretch those muscles out. Your legs will thank you the next day when you head back from the door.
