The earliest on the record (below, right) informs many design elements found on the early Royal Oak QPs; with a four-register layout, moon-phase at six, the month indication at twelve, and a sub-dial at three for the date. fake hublot watch Pay particular notice to the lack of a leap-year indication, as this is the genesis of the layout we will see nearly 40 years later for the Royal Oak.In the hand, the bracelet has quite a vintage feel. I believe the technical terms are light and jangly. The links are also very fluid. The bracelet almost feels like a jubilee the way it's able to fold into itself. Some of the links feature arrows engraved on the back to indicate which ones are removable. Everything is matte from the dial to the case to the bracelet to the clasp. And it's all preposterously thin for such a ruggedly toolish design.While he does not exactly invite me to peruse his bank statements over breakfast, it seems fair to surmise that a restaurateur who employs 500 people, has published six cookbooks, and was for years a Top Chef  judge could probably afford something fancier. And finally, the Rolex Cellini Moon Phase.This watch was not so secretly one of my favorite releases this year at Baselworld, not only because I love a good moon-phase, but because it was the first moon-phase watch released by Rolex since the ref. 6062 and the ref. 8171 (both triple calendar moonphase watches) in the fake tag heuer watch 1950s. You can read all about this new release here.Jaeger-LeCoultre's Polaris collection was the big news at this year's SIHH, and the most complicated member of the new family is the Chronograph WT (world timer) which combines a world time complication with a chronograph. This latest introduction separates out the world time functionality, in a slightly smaller case, and with a new dial treatment. This model is going to be available only at JLC boutiques, and in a limited edition of  250 watches.The 9P movement of 1957, at a groundbreaking 2mm thick, made it possible for Piaget to create super-sleek watches that were much thinner than others on the market ("They looked thin, but ours looked very, very thin," Forot explains). It also meant more fabulous jewelry watches with bigger dials.Omega says that this allows the LdP to take more accurate measurements during the 15 days of chronometer testing according to the ISO 3159 standard. This standard outlines the positions, temperatures, and conditions a watch must undergo to meet chronometer standards according to ISO. The 15-day testing period is specifically for wristwatches (if you care, carriage clocks get measured over 19 days and quartz watches over 13 days).

Existing customers will have preferred access to the first 150 pieces in the series, starting at 1 PM GMT on November 25th, with the remainder of 350 pieces becoming available to the general public at 1 PM GMT on November 26th. A 50 percent deposit is due at the time of ordering, with delivery expected to begin in July of 2022.
