In link addition to creating watches of its own, Squale – whose name derives from the Italian word for "shark" – was a major player in the link production of dive watch cases. You might recognize vintage dive watches from the '60s, '70s, and '80s that featured the company's trademark case – with the signature four o'clock crown. link Blancpain, Doxa, and TAG Heuer all called on Squale for its cases. Blancpain even used the Squale case on its famous "Bund" Fifty Fathoms for the German military!
