Like I mentioned earlier, there are always exceptions. Just a few months ago, as I was completing my nightly ritual of staring at my watch for 10 minutes before bed, I noticed something. On the sapphire crystal, toward the bottom of the dial, was a light, but long, hairline scratch, unnoticeable from some angles, but unmissable from others. I don't personally wear diamonds, so I have little idea where this came from, but as you can tell, it bothers me to this day. https://tinyurl.com/4zap9fuh
