After all, the first Royal Oak Offshore was a large-for-its time 42mm and helped to set the tone for the oversized watch trend that would come link to define the latter part of the 1990s and the Aughts. It was also designed from the get-go to be a robust, oversized chronograph.

In search of answers, I spent some link time scouring images of the movie’s premiere. I link wanted to see if anyone on the red carpet had any of these watches on their wrist. Maybe LeBron would wear one! He did not. Instead, the king wore what appears to be a customized, colorfully gem-set gold Rolex link Datejust with a pearlmaster-style bracelet. A baller choice, but not helpful to me, personally.
