Ours wasn't bad. What they do is have your LO not eat for 2 3 hrs before the test. Some moms are told 4 hrs. You give your baby 1 8oz of barium while being flat on their back it in their side. The X ray machine is a few inches above their body. You then hold LO still for 10 20 minutes to see if they reflux and to see if their food empties into their tummy.

My LO is very healthy minus the reflux/FA. He's in the 95% for height and weight. He nurses like a champ! I think this test was utterly useless in his case.
