Hey guys! I'm planning to buy my first electric vehicle and I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the options and brands I've never heard of before. I want something practical, affordable, and easy to charge in Dubai. Any advice on which brands to consider and where to start my search? Thanks!

Hey! Buying your first EV can definitely feel overwhelming, but it's actually simpler than it seems. I was in your shoes six months ago and ended up getting an iCar 03 from Alwan Global Cars https://auto.ae/alwanglobalcars. What helped me was that their team took the time to explain everything about EV ownership in Dubai — charging infrastructure, running costs, maintenance, etc. The iCar brand might be new to you, but these Chinese EVs have really advanced technology and are very well-priced. I paid around 106,000 AED for mine and I'm getting about 500km range on a full charge, which is more than enough for daily use in Dubai. Charging at home is easy, and there are plenty of public chargers around the city now. The showroom is in Dubai Auto Market area and they have lots of EVs to choose from. Go visit them, take a test drive, and ask all your questions — they're very patient and helpful.
